BROOMFIELD, Colo. – May 4, 2016 – Last week Gogo Business Aviation (NASDAQ: GOGO) was honored as the 2016 AEA Associate Member of the Year at the 59th annual Aircraft Electronics Association International Convention & Trade Show in Kissimmee (Orlando), Florida.

“The AEA is pleased that Gogo Business Aviation is the recipient of the 2016 AEA Associate Member of the Year Award,” said AEA President Paula Derks. “This award is chosen by the AEA dealer network, so it truly is an honor to be recognized by industry peers. Gogo Business Aviation has been a proud and active member of the AEA since 1992. I'd like to extend my personal congratulations to the entire staff at Gogo Business Aviation for this well-deserved honor."

Gogo is the leading provider of in-flight connectivity and wireless in-flight entertainment solutions to the global aero market providing in-cabin Wi-Fi for Internet access, streaming services, email, voice, texting, cockpit data, and safety services. It also won the AEA Associate Member of the Year award in 2007.

“To receive this award from the AEA and its dealer network is incredibly meaningful to Gogo Business Aviation,” said John Wade, Gogo Business Aviation’s executive vice president and general manager. “Our success wouldn’t be possible without the invaluable contribution of our dealers and the great service they provide to our mutual customers. Together, we are poised for continued growth in the years ahead.”

Marking another significant milestone in the company’s development of a new generation of connectivity and enhanced capabilities for business aviation, Gogo recently announced that it had successfully completed the initial phase of flight testing for its Gogo Biz 4G service.
