Sergio Aguirre

President, Business Aviation

Sergio Aguirre joined Gogo in 2007 and currently serves as the President for Gogo’s Business Aviation division. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the success and overall direction of the division with all functions reporting to him. Aguirre joined Gogo in 2007 as an OEM account manager and was promoted to vice president of business development in April of 2014 where he led the team that developed and launched many of Gogo’s current products, including Gogo Cloud and Gogo Biz 4G.
Aguirre is an aviation industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, and is well suited to lead the division after serving in a variety of positions from A&P mechanic to sales, product development and upper management.
Prior to joining Gogo, he served as director of OEM and aftermarket sales for Securaplane, helping to pioneer the installation of exterior cameras on corporate aviation aircraft. He served in a similar capacity for Airshow in the late 1990s where he was part of the team that launched the first Ku TV system that became the industry standard across business aviation and commercial airlines.
From 1989-1996 he served as an aircraft completions mechanic and customer account manager for Gulfstream Aerospace where he was involved in the first installations of Inmarst systems on Gulfstream aircraft.
As a member of the United States Air Force, from 1984-1988, he was an aircraft structural mechanic and worked on F-111s and H1N helicopters.
Aguirre attended Orange Coast College, and completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, and has an FAA airframe and power plant license.

Andy Geist

Senior Vice President

Andy Geist is senior vice president of Gogo Business Aviation where he is responsible for all aspects of sales and fueling the company’s continued growth and success globally. Geist has a deep history in the aviation industry with more than 30 years of experience as a business executive. In his two decades with Gogo, he has been a central figure in helping build the company from a fledgling start-up to its standing today as an industry leader with global brand recognition.
Recruited by the original Aircell company founders during the company’s start-up (Aircell was rebranded Gogo Business Aviation in 2014), Geist has served in a variety of key leadership roles with the company during the past two decades managing sales and marketing, customer service and technical support, product management, and sales engineering. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing all hardware and airtime service sales of Gogo’s air-to-ground, Iridium, Inmarsat, and Ku programs within the OEM, aftermarket dealer, governmental, and global distribution channels.

Prior to Gogo, Geist worked in many aspects of flight operations, including flight crew/pilot and management at People Express Airlines, Continental/GP Express Airlines, Jeppesen, and USAIG where he was a risk manager and underwriter. He also successfully launched several new business ventures within the private aerospace sector, acting as CEO, founder and co-founder. Those companies included one that pioneered a revolutionary FAA approved ultrasonic aircraft inspection program, a global aircraft parts, repair, sales and distribution company, and an 1031 exchange company that specialized in aircraft transactions.

Geist holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace science with a minor in business management from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. He is also a current FAA-licensed commercial pilot and flight instructor in both single and multiengine aircraft, logging several thousand flight hours in a variety of aircraft.

Mike Syverson

Senior Vice President, Technology and Operations

Michael Syverson is the senior vice president of technology and operations at Gogo Business Aviation. In this role, he oversees the design, development and delivery of the products and services Gogo provides to the business aviation marketplace. More specifically, Syverson is responsible for product engineering (both software and hardware), certifications, application development, program management, supply chain, manufacturing, and production operations. During his tenure with Gogo, he’s overseen the development of a multitude of products including Gogo Vision, Gogo Text & Talk, and Gogo Biz 4G, in addition to business systems products.

Syverson has more than 20 years of experience developing and delivering technology and operations excellence across several industries including aviation, Internet and telecommunications. Prior to joining Gogo, he led various technology and program management organizations for several leading brands including U.S. Cellular, Orbitz, KPMG, and McDonnell Douglas. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri and is a certified public accountant by the state of Missouri. In addition, he holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Dave Glenn

Vice President, Customer Operations

Dave Glenn is vice president of customer operations for Gogo Business Aviation. In his current role, he directs many of the company’s customer-facing teams including tech support, sales engineering, network operations, training and data analytics. He drives a customer-centric approach to all aspects of the business, and his teams ensure Gogo’s products, processes and people support the best experience possible.

In his time with Gogo he’s overseen the team that ranked No. 1 in customer support for avionics in the Product Support Survey conducted by Aviation International News (AIN). In 2016 Gogo earned top billing in the annual survey for the sixth consecutive year. Glenn has a diverse background with 25 years of experience across various industries including aviation, Internet and software support.

Prior to Gogo he held leadership positions with the US Air Force, Covad Communications, and NICE Systems where he led global customer operations and support organizations. He has led global customer operations and support organizations that consisted of more than 1,000 personnel supporting customer bases of 500,000 and greater.

Additionally, Glenn has accumulated more than 3,000 flight hours as an evaluator navigator in the United States Air Force. He was a navigator aboard the C-130 Hercules, and was an Air Force 2 crewmember on the VC-137 in the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy; and a Master of Arts from Webster University.

Lisa Peterson

Vice President, Marketing and Digital Strategy

Lisa Peterson is a strategic marketing executive with a deep focus on data driven marketing and working with organizations to build sustainable businesses around the Internet of Things (IoT). She concentrates on how to deliver measurable results on all activities to elevate brands and drive sales.

Prior to joining Gogo, she was the VP of Global Marketing for Arrow Electronics where she built the strategic marketing function and digital marketing groups, overseeing global creative services, events, digital marketing, social media, marketing operations and web development. With a strong focus on building strategic marketing organizations, she has built and led global marketing teams for several other companies ranging in size from large scale global organizations to smaller, midsize corporations. Typically helping teams evolve from traditional marketing to rich data-driven organizations hinged in customer insights. She was also a consultant with McKinsey & Company for nearly a decade in the strategy and marketing practices.

Lisa is a graduate of the University of Colorado and holds a B.S. in Finance, Marketing and International Business. She also earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently resides in Denver, CO and enjoys playing soccer, traveling and brewing beer.

Kyle Gill

Vice President, Product Management

Kyle Gill is vice president of product management for Gogo Business Aviation where he leads the development and evolution of the full suite of product and service offerings Gogo provides to the business aviation marketplace. In addition, he is responsible for creating market strategy and implementing the company’s multi-year products and services roadmap for growth with a relentless focus on driving customer satisfaction and driving innovation to exceed the expectations of Gogo’s customers.
Gill joined Gogo Business Aviation in December 2016 after spending 14 years at NetJets Inc., where he held a variety of positions, most recently as director of aircraft configuration where he led global business functions related to fleet technical configuration and specification. In that role, he was responsible for development and deployment of the new AVOD NetJets Entertainment system on the Signature Series fleet, streaming movies and TV wirelessly to passenger devices, and working with the global flight operations and maintenance departments to ensure fleet compliance with FAA and EASA mandates.
He started with NetJets as a financial analyst and spent eight years performing reliability and operational analyses of NetJets’ aircraft maintenance functions to improve operating efficiencies and cost. In 2010 he moved to the company’s global asset management department where he was heavily involved in negotiation, specification, maintenance support, and purchase of up to $17.6 billion worth of new Signature Series aircraft, spanning the Embraer Phenom 300, Cessna Latitude, Bombardier Challenger 350 and 650, and Global 5000, 6000, 7000 and 8000.
Gill is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with an undergraduate degree in avionics technology and a Master of Business Administration in aviation.
