ANAHEIM, CA [Heli-Expo 2005] - February 6, 2005 - Aircell's most popular satcom system, the ST 3100, has been certified to meet the highest level of vibration standard for helicopters - meeting the requirements of Category U in Section 8 of the RTCA/DO-160E environmental test standards.
Vibration certification in Category U gives Aircell customers the highest confidence that the ST 3100 will perform flawlessly in the rotorcraft environment. Aircell is the first and only airborne telecom provider to offer an Iridium satcom system certified to this level.

The ST 3100's new Category U certification is in addition to its existing Category S certification for vibration.
