Aircell Expands Gogo Biz Inflight Internet Coverage to Alaska February 2, 2011 With a recently-completed expansion of the Aircell Network, Gogo Biz coverage now includes Alaska’s more populous regions and key enroute segments, as well as the arrival and departure corridors for key airports. More information and coverage maps for Gogo Biz are available at the following link: http://www.aircell.com/products-services/gogo-biz Alaskan coverage is included in Aircell’s existing Gogo Biz service plans, so there are no additional costs and no extra effort required for business aviation customers to enjoy the service. Gogo Biz monthly service plans start as low as $395/month. “We’re pleased to extend Gogo Biz coverage to include Alaska,” said John Wade, Aircell’s Executive Vice President and General Manager. “Gogo Biz is the fastest-selling service in our history and our newly expanded service area gives our customers an even greater chance to stay productive while they fly.” Gogo Biz Inflight Internet provides a true high-speed Internet service to business aircraft operators throughout the Continental U.S. and, with today’s announcement, portions of Alaska. Operating over Aircell’s advanced air-to-ground network, Gogo Biz is the only solution in business aviation that provides an internet experience similar to the ground, with equipment small and light enough to fit on virtually any business aircraft. In related expansion news, discussions continue between Aircell and the Canadian ATG (air-to- ground) license-holder to use Aircell’s unique technology to bring inflight Internet service to business aircraft in Canadian airspace. At this time, no timetable is available for service launch or the terms under which it would be offered. More information will be shared as soon as it becomes available. Through its diverse line of airborne communications products, Aircell offers one of the business aviation industry’s largest selections of network services.
