Aircell Extends 2010 Inflight Internet Seminar Series

BROOMFIELD, Colo., Oct. 6 / PRNewswire / -- Aircell, the world's leading provider of inflight connectivity, today announced the extension of its popular educational series entitled, "Getting Your Business Aircraft Online: The Seminar". Offering business aircraft operators a complete, objective understanding of the new generation of inflight connectivity, the seminars have been very popular to date. Nearly two dozen have already been conducted across the country with some drawing more than 100 attendees. The sessions are approximately 45 minutes long, including an open question and answer session.

Aircraft operators have routinely praised the course content and relevancy. Keith Kreeger is President of the Love Field Pilots Association (LFPA) and also Director of Aviation for a Fortune 200 company. He said, "People are passionate about connectivity these days and since aircraft systems have become so practical, it's a really hot topic in business aviation. We hosted the Aircell seminar for LFPA members in July and it was our biggest crowd of the year – people loved it. The material was extremely well-done. It was easy to understand and it provides awareness on the whole landscape – not just Aircell information."

Aircell developed seminar content from intelligence gathered from thousands of customer interactions since 2006. The information covers Inmarsat SwiftBroadband, Aircell's Gogo Biz™ and Ku-band satellite services. Attendees will get answers to the most commonly-asked questions, including:

"The seminar series has really struck a chord with aircraft operators, so it was an easy decision to extend it through the end of the year," said John Wade, Aircell's Executive Vice President and General Manager. "As complicated as everything seems, all high-speed connectivity in business aviation is rooted in only three network services – Inmarsat SwiftBroadband, Aircell's Gogo Biz and Ku-band satellite. With a solid understanding of just those three things, it's easy to see what your options are and everything else in the discovery process becomes exponentially easier."

The updated seminar schedule is below and more dates and venues are being added through the end of 2010. An always-current calendar is available at www.aircell.com/seminars .
